Tlatelolco Metro is a subway station located in the Tlatelolco neighborhood of Mexico City. It is part of Line 3 of the Mexico City Metro system. The station was opened in 1980 and has two levels, with the upper level serving as the platform for Line 3 and the lower level serving as a transfer point to Line 7. The station features several murals that represent the history and culture of the Tlatelolco neighborhood. In addition to being a transportation hub, the Tlatelolco area is well-known for its historical significance as the site of the Tlatelolco massacre in 1968, which was a turning point in the Mexican student movement.
